An agreement is set to be signed in September, according to Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Vakhrukov.
"Myanmar is one of our priorities. We have already reached an agreement to sign the deal on visa abolition during the Eastern Economic Forum. I believe this will serve as an excellent example for other countries with which we are actively cooperating," Vakhrukov stated in an interview with TASS.
Previously, the Ministry of Economic Development mentioned that Russia is working on abolishing tourist visas for citizens of Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia, Myanmar, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
